The Corn Maiden Kachina is the most common female Kachina impersonation. Legend says her purpose is to purify the women who grind the corn for ceremonies and other gatherings.

This Genuine Navajo Kachina Doll handmade by Native American Artists of the Navajo Nation in New Mexico. Doll stands 10" tall (about 12" - 14" with stand and headdress). Head dress is removable to reveal Native American head underneath (made of poly-resin).
