This is a genuine Navajo Storyteller that is hand made of pottery by Native American Artist Eva Betonie. Hand-painted in brilliant earth colors, the elder storyteller has nine (9) children sitting about her lap waiting to hear the many histories and stories that are being told. Storytelling is a tradition in many Navajo and Native American tribes during long winter nights for entertainment and to preserve the history and traditions of the tribe orally. Each storyteller pottery piece is individually hand made so no two are exactly alike. The storyteller measures approximately 6 inches tall. Native American Made in USA
